- Part-Time | In-Person | Weekday Afternoons (3–6 PM) Why You’ll Love Teaching With Us * Safe, supportive classrooms on school campuses, DLC’s own center, or community centers * Paid training, on-the-job coaching, & ready-to-use curriculum, books & teaching supplies —we’ve got your back * Flexible part-time schedule (weekday afternoons + optional weekends) * Casual, relaxed, inclusive work environment * Opportunities to grow with a fast-expanding education company * Make a real impact on students’ confidence, skills, and love of learning --- What You’ll Do as a Math Instructor / Teacher * Teach engaging K–12 math classes using our enrichment-focused curriculum * Lead small, interactive groups that encourage problem-solving and curiosity * Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment * Review homework, assess progress, and personalize instruction * Share lesson recaps and homework with parents * Track and report student progress each semester * Communicate clearly with families and offer make-up sessions when needed * Mentor students to think logically, ask great questions, and enjoy math --- Who We’re Looking For * Strong math background (Bachelor’s in math, science, engineering, or related field preferred) * Talented undergraduates majoring in math or related fields welcome to apply * Experience teaching or tutoring elementary or middle school students strongly preferred * Experience with math enrichment programs or competitions is a big plus * Confident communicator with strong classroom presence * Passion for helping students grow academically and emotionally --- Schedule Snapshot * Teach 1–2.5 hours per day (most commonly 1.5+ hours) on mutually agreed weekdays * Classes run between 3–6 PM on weekdays * Our teachers usually teach 2-10 hours per week, over 1-5 days per week, based on your availability, student needs, and tenure with us Example schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:30–5:00 PM --- Ready to Inspire Young Mathematicians?
