Requirements
  • We are looking for a skilled technician with 2 or more years of hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, and general carpentry, with HVAC expertise being highly preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of BMT or related work experience in building maintenance is required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA occupational safety regulations is required.
  • Ability to read and understand construction, electrical and equipment blueprints and schematics is required.
  • Knowledge of the proper use of specialized departmental equipment including those used in the plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general carpentry trades is required.
  • Basic computer literacy for entering and looking up information using standard business software is required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships with staff, customers and others is required.
  • Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and common-sense skills are required.
  • Must be able to pass multiple, comprehensive pre-employment background investigations and drug screen is required.
  • License and Certifications
  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record, free from suspensions or restrictions, is required.
  • Must frequently lift and or move 5 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Travel will be required within the Sacramento area, up to 2 hours outside of the region.
Preferred Skills

  • EPA Certification preferred.
