- Candidates selected to fill the role of Elementary Teacher for Wayzata Public Schools will be given the great responsibility of continuing our long standing commitment to academic excellence.
- This will be done through the design and delivery of instruction that ensures the success of a diverse population of learners.
- In addition, you will be responsible for building positive relationships and working collaboratively with students, parents, and staff members to foster a positive experience for the entire learning community.

- Ideal candidate will have previous elementary level teaching experience.
- Ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of core areas such as Language Arts, Math, and early literacy.
- Ideal candidates should also have experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated strategies that support diverse learners.
- Must have strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Must have the ability to build positive working relationships with students, parents and staff.
- Must have the ability to calmly and effectively deal with a variety of unexpected circumstances.
- Must be proficient with current technology used to support communication, academics, and student progress monitoring.
- Must be able to produce, analyze and respond to relevant data about student learning.

Starting date: Fall 2026
Compensation Range: $52,308- $123,452 (Depending on Education and Experience)
