Requirements
  • Experience:
  • At least three years of development, fundraising, event coordination, nonprofit, volunteer coordination or related experience with a track record of increased responsibility.
  • Experience with:
  • Publishing and photo-editing software, such as Canva
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Social media platforms
  • Strong administrative and time management skills with attention to detail
  • A professional and resourceful style, able to work independently as a team player
  • Ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects simultaneously, exceptional follow through skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all related volunteers, committees and donors
  • Writing skills to compose clear, concise and comprehensive correspondence and other written materials
  • Must pass physical, drug screen, TB test (paid by Angels' Place)
  • Must pass Michigan State Police and FBI fingerprint criminal history background check.
  • Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license and maintain a responsible driving record WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Full time, in person at our office in Southfield (near Northwestern Hwy. and Franklin Rd.), M-F 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Some evening and weekends are required.
  • Occasional local travel required
