Manager, Business Systems and Data Insights

Allied Services Group is a fast-growing, investor-backed platform acquiring and scaling electrical and infrastructure services businesses across the U.S. As the company continues to grow through acquisitions, they are building a centralized corporate infrastructure, and this role sits at the center of that effort. The Manager, Business Systems & Data Insights will work directly with the VP of Finance & Accounting to shape how the business leverages ERP systems, data, and insights to scale. The Role This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of systems, data, and business operations. You will lead efforts around:
ERP implementation and optimization
Data integration and reporting
Building insights that drive better business decisions This is not a traditional IT role; it’s a hands-on, business-facing position partnering closely with finance and operations leaders. What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)
You’ve built clarity around systems across portfolio companies and created a roadmap for integration and optimization
Leadership has access to clean, actionable reporting and dashboards
Key processes (monthly close, reporting, insights) are faster and more efficient
A centralized data foundation is taking shape across entities
You’ve become a trusted partner across finance and operations
You’re driving automation, efficiency, and AI-enabled insights What You’ll Do ERP & Systems
Lead ERP implementation and optimization (Viewpoint Vista)
Evaluate systems across acquired companies
Determine when to migrate vs. optimize
Support onboarding of new businesses Data, Reporting & Insights
Build and maintain a centralized data structure / warehouse
Extract and organize data across systems
Develop dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Improve visibility into financial and operational performance Business Partnership
Partner with finance and operations leaders
Translate data into actionable insights
Improve decision-making across the platform Process Improvement & AI
Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
Leverage data and emerging tools (including AI)
Help build scalable systems as the business grows What We’re Looking For Core Experience
ERP experience (implementation, integration, or support)
Strong background in:
Data analysis
SQL / data modeling
BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Ability to work across multiple systems and environments Preferred
Construction or project-based industry experience
Multi-entity or acquisition-driven environments
Exposure to finance / accounting workflows
Experience with Viewpoint Vista (a plus) Who You Are
