- Respond to line manager and apprentice inquiries to remove program blockers
- Partner with HR on performance management and employee relations issues
- Support conversion processes from apprentice to full-time employee status
- Collaborate with Recruiting on pipeline development and offboarding processes
- Review and update job descriptions to reflect current eligibility criteria and program requirements
- Document quantifiable business outcomes (productivity gains, project contributions, skill development) for active apprentices
- External Partner Management
- Establish and manage relationships with community colleges, technical schools, and training providers
- Oversee Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for selecting new training partners as programs expand
- Negotiate and execute training provider contracts and service agreements
- Coordinate with providers on curriculum alignment with Amazon's business needs
- Manage provider performance metrics and quarterly business reviews
- Build relationships with state workforce development boards
- Engage with Dept Of Labor Office of Apprenticeship representatives
- Partner with industry associations and apprenticeship intermediaries
- Represent Amazon at apprenticeship conferences and forums
- Compliance
- Ensure compliance with US Department of Labor (DOL) Registered Apprenticeship Program requirements and state-specific regulations
- Review and approve Terms of Employment for each state jurisdiction where apprentices are hired in partnership with legal
- Partner with New Joiner Support (NJS) to ensure correct employment contracts align with apprenticeship requirements
- Maintain apprenticeship standards, work processes, and related instruction requirements
- Manage On-the-Job Project work and Related Technical Instruction (RTI) compliance tracking
- Ensure proper documentation for federal and state tax credits and funding opportunities
- Apprentice Experience & Engagement
- Design and execute high-visibility apprentice experience events with dedicated budget authority:
- Monitor apprentice engagement and satisfaction through regular surveys and feedback loops
- Report on apprentice progress, completion rates, and program outcomes

Within Amazon University Talent Acquisition (AUTA), the centralized Apprentice Program Team (APT) manages registered apprenticeship programs end-to-end globally. APT is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to serve as the single-threaded owner of all US programs, leading day-to-day operations, driving program expansion into new business units, and delivering operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications

Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
