- Azure Application Architect Job Responsibilities Include
- Lead application discovery and assessment workshops to capture architecture, integrations, SLAs, non‑functional requirements, and operational constraints.
- Evaluate existing Azure services used by applications to produce migration readiness findings, dependency maps, and workload‑level migration backlog items.
- Define recommended migration approaches (6Rs) for each workload, including target architecture options, risks, assumptions, and effort estimates for wave planning.
- Execute hands‑on migration for Microsoft Dynamics workloads, ensuring proper handling of integrations, data movement, and cutover sequencing.
- Apply Azure migration tools and telemetry‑based analysis methods to streamline assessment, dependency identification, and workload transitions.
- Create high‑quality documentation such as assessment reports, diagrams, dependency views, and decision logs while clearly communicating recommendations to stakeholders.

Akkodis is seeking an Azure Application Architect for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC(Remote). The candidate must have strong expertise in application discovery, technical assessment, and defining migration readiness for workloads moving to Azure.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
