- This role manages and optimizes the production planning process assuring FDA, cGMP, and SOP compliance.
- Manages Warehouse operations assuring timely shipping and receipt of goods with cGMP compliance.
- Manage the production planning process
- Slot production run and ensure enough raw material inventory is available through the use of the MRP
- Oversee purchasing all materials, supplies, capital equipment and services for company-wide requirements; maintain high quality and identifies cost saving opportunities
- Select, develop and use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and other analytical tools to manage inventory levels, ensure material availability and minimize overall inventory levels
- Evaluate current MRP/ERP systems for forecasting material requirements and implement as necessary
- Work with the Development Group to identify material needs for new product manufacturing
- Set appropriate specifications and inspection procedures
- Manage storage requirements throughout the site and set up and monitor systems for matierla workflows
- Manage tracking of inventory flows for the site
- Ensure consistent use of Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure warehouse meets all cGMP standards
- Manage vendor relations through consistent communication
- Participate in audits as required
- Hire, train, manage, and motivate buyer and warehouse staff
- Other duties as assigned

- Minimum 4-6 years related experience supervising non-exempt and exempt employees required
- Minimum 10-12 years related experiences required
- Proven, effective management of production schedules
- Proven, effective management of inventory flows and levels
- Ability to plan and anticipate needs of production and other departments
- Ability to work under limited supervision, drawing on previous experience, good judgment and standard procedures
- Strong understanding of cGMP standards and requirements
- Strong computer skills and competency with Microsoft Office, particularly excel; working knowledge of SBT or other Inventory Management Systems
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to manage staff and negotiate with vendors
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload
Education
- (Required) – High School Diploma or GED required; B.S. preferred

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $106,000 to $118,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
The compensation and benefits described above are subject to the terms and conditions of any governing plans, policies, practices, agreements, or other materials or documents as in effect from time to time, including but not limited to terms and conditions regarding eligibility. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company, or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
