- This individual will lead all financial functions of the organization and play a critical role in preparing the business for a successful exit.
- Partner with the CEO and Board to define and execute the company’s value creation plan
- Lead all aspects of exit readiness, including financial diligence preparation, quality of earnings (QoE), and data room development
- Serve as primary financial liaison to private equity sponsors, lenders, and external advisors
- Support and lead the company through a sale process, including buyer interactions, management presentations, and negotiations Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop and maintain robust financial models, forecasts, and KPIs to support strategic decision-making
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights to leadership and investors Accounting & Controls
- Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring GAAP compliance and audit readiness
- Strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures to support scalability and transaction readiness
- Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors and third-party advisors Cash Flow & Capital Management
- Optimize working capital, including inventory management, receivables, and payables
- Manage liquidity, debt compliance, and banking relationships
- Lead cash flow forecasting and capital allocation strategies Operational & Commercial Partnership
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and sales to drive margin improvement and operational efficiency
- Support pricing strategy, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives
- Implement systems and tools to enhance financial visibility across the organization Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team
- Assess current team capabilities and implement upgrades as needed to support growth and exit readiness

Requirements
- 12–20+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including prior CFO or Divisional CFO roles
- Proven experience within a private equity-backed company, ideally through a successful exit or liquidity event
- Strong background in distribution, healthcare, or related industries
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, M&A, due diligence, and transaction processes
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable financial infrastructure in a high-growth environment
- Experience managing lender relationships and leveraged capital structures
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience interfacing with boards and investors Key Characteristics

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and a strategic partner to the CEO and private equity sponsor.
