You must work full time in office not remote, not contracting and no C2C Job Summary We are seeking a Data Scientist with 2–5 years of experience to join our growing analytics and AI team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building data-driven solutions using Microsoft Azure services and OpenAI technologies . We will provide 6 weeks of training. This role is well suited for an early-career professional who is eager to apply machine learning, analytics, and generative AI to solve real-world business problems. Key Responsibilities
Develop, validate, and deploy data science and machine learning models using Azure-based platforms
Leverage OpenAI models (e.g., Azure OpenAI Service) for use cases such as text analytics, summarization, chatbots, and automation
Perform data preparation, feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, and model evaluation
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical and AI-driven solutions
Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks)
Create insights, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate results effectively
Participate in model monitoring, performance tuning, and continuous improvement
Follow best practices related to data governance, security, and responsible AI Required Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role
Strong programming skills in Python (and/or R)
Experience with Microsoft Azure , including one or more of:
Azure Machine Learning
Azure Databricks
Azure Data Factory or Synapse Analytics
Practical experience working with OpenAI or Azure OpenAI Service
Solid foundation in statistics, machine learning, and data modeling
Experience working with structured and unstructured data
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with SQL and relational or cloud-based data warehouses
Exposure to Generative AI, prompt engineering, or LLM-based applications
Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
Knowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment pipelines
Experience in agile or cross-functional team environments Education
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $46,400 to $111,090. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
