- Design and develop components and assemblies, including plastic and rubber injection molded parts
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings
- Manage and maintain engineering configuration control , including BOMs, drawings, and artwork files
- Execute projects within the Product Development Process, ensuring alignment to performance, cost, schedule, and specifications
- Translate customer, regulatory, and contractual requirements into:
- Engineering designs
- Test and validation plans
- Develop and cost new product concepts to meet evolving customer requirements
- Conduct product validation and verification testing to support production approval
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product or process issues
- Collaborate with suppliers on technical issues and development initiatives
- Partner with manufacturing to:
- Develop work instructions
- Provide process guidance
- Support new equipment implementation
- Assist in defining critical quality characteristics and ensuring product compliance
- Support marketing and sales with technical data, presentations, and product information
- Contribute to product-related documentation, including user instructions and technical publications
- Support custom design requests, quoting activities, and proposal efforts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date engineering documentation

Mechanical Engineer – Respiratory Protection (CBRN) Position Summary The Mechanical Engineer will support the design, development, and lifecycle management of CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) respiratory protection products and accessories. This role partners closely with Product Management to execute new product development, maintain configuration control, and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and contractual requirements. This individual will play a key role in translating requirements into engineered solutions, supporting product validation, and driving continuous improvement across a defined product group. Key Responsibilities
