CENIT North America, Inc. seeks a Digital Manufacturing Application Engineer to work in Auburn Hills, MI to act as lead engineer to assist management on assigned projects for delivery of solutions and monitoring costs.
Work with customer engineers to solve engineering and manufacturing automation challenges.
Review projects for customer presentations.
Utilize Digital Factory Software Solutions implementation, configuration and development skills for 3D based manufacturing process planning and simulation.
Manufacturing process optimization through 3D based virtual work cell layout for complex machine tools and advanced robotics, for aerospace and automotive engineering and manufacturing software.
Utilize inverse kinematic development, C++, Visual Basic, Java based software development and customization, advanced automated aircraft riveting and fastening, automated aircraft composite machining, 5+ axis machine tool and 6+ axis robotics offline programming for the aerospace and automotive engineering industries.
Evaluate budget and project timelines, making appropriate adjustments, and advise management.
Research and train engineering and user personnel on best practices and solutions.
