- Conduct engineering calculations and review material sampling/testing.
- Provide technical assistance, mentoring, and problem-solving for staff.
- Use automated design and engineering systems.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to address designs and construction issues.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepare project proposals and assist with invoicing.
- Collect engineering data at project sites.
- Ensure successful project delivery for TxDOT.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in CEI project delivery, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement business strategies in collaboration with state and local leaders.

- Texas PE License, Required
- Valid Class 'C' Texas Driver's License
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with transportation engineering, construction, material testing and/or project management
- Project Management Experience working directly with TxDOT or other Local Agencies with a focus on construction management of transportation projects
- Proficient in performing constructability reviews and managing construction claims on transportation projects
- Knowledge of State and local government standards and specifications
- Well versed in Microsoft Office
- SiteManager or other construction tracking software
- Technical report writing
- Ability to travel, 25% of the time
- Preparing and maintaining confidential and sensitive records, files and reports
Education
- (Not required) – Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college, university or engineering school approved by TBPE

Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Project Leadership:
