- Drivers return to the assigned plant promptly for reloads and assist with crew operations as needed.
- Operate heavy-duty asphalt tack trucks and specialized motorized equipment
- Inspect vehicle mechanical condition and report malfunctions
- Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs as appropriate
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Check and maintain oil, water, fuel, tires, and other vehicle components
- Maintain accurate vehicle and maintenance records
- Transport crews and materials to job sites
- Load and unload equipment and materials as required
- Direct traffic or assist with crew supervision when necessary
- Tow or operate additional specialized equipment as required
- Work flexible schedules including shifts, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Comply with all company policies and state/local driving regulations

- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required

About the Role The Tack Truck Driver operates a heavy-duty asphalt tack truck and related motorized equipment. The position ensures proper product temperature, safe transportation, and efficient job site support.
