- Build and own a new business territory across the Bay Area and Northern California, targeting mid-market and enterprise importers and exporters
- Develop and present tailored solutions across international air freight, ocean freight, and customs brokerage services
- Drive Trans-Pacific trade lanes as the primary commercial focus, with additional exposure to Transatlantic and intra-Americas business
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and cold outreach through to RFQ, RFP, negotiation, and contract close
- Work closely with pricing and operations to build proposals that are commercially competitive and operationally deliverable
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline, providing reliable revenue forecasting to senior management
- Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities across the company's broader product portfolio including warehousing and distribution WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Strong working knowledge of Trans-Pacific air and ocean products, carrier relationships, and market pricing dynamics
- Experience managing and closing complex RFQ and RFP processes with mid-market and enterprise-level shippers

In operation since 1987, they have a physical presence across 42 countries, a dedicated U.S. customs brokerage division, and a commercial team of 11 across North America. The San Francisco office is their West Coast flagship, handling the highest volume of Trans-Pacific ocean and air freight in their entire U.S. network. Their average client tenure sits at over seven years, which reflects the quality of service their operations team consistently delivers. They are selectively adding one Senior Business Development Manager to the San Francisco team to capitalise on an existing pipeline and a market they have a strong track record of winning in.
