Requirements
  • Experience providing workplace safety and loss control services
  • Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and business clients within a risk/carrier environment and/or business setting
  • Possess a valid driver’s license & evidence of insurability
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Washington State workers’ compensation, federal safety laws, and risk management principles to promote a positive workplace safety culture, prevent and minimize injuries, and ensure compliance.
  • Experience persuading and influencing the adoption of workplace safety risk management principles and best practices using data-driven methods
  • Experience in analyzing risks and developing practical safety solutions with hands-on field experience
  • Experience measuring and implementing injury prevention programs with a focus on risk and workplace safety assessments to track success
  • Prior successful experience servicing and exceeding customer and/or business client expectations in various settings through measurable outcomes and/or feedback loops with partners
  • Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and being able to re-prioritize tasks as-needed.
  • Safety/risk management-related designation (ASP, CSP, ALCM, ARM, CSRM, CIH etc.)
  • Medical, dental, and vision through the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) Program
Education
  • (Not required) – Bachelor's Degree in Business, Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health Science, or related field; or an Associate’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or related field and 3+ years of progressively responsible work-related experience; or a high school diploma/GED or equivalent and 6+ years of progressively responsible work-related experience
