- The selected individual will be expected to lead projects from commencement to completion, including the ability to:
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of basic site-layout, civil, electrical, grounding, and structural aspects of telecommunications and/or renewable energy facilities
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for telecommunications/renewable energy projects using computer-assisted drafting (AutoCAD) equipment
- Research codes and create construction drawings that adhere to various construction, permitting, and zoning regulations for widely varying geographic locations
- Perform ground-based inspections/audits and related functions at telecommunications/renewable energy sites with limited supervision
- Coordinate with client representatives, governing agency personnel, and other project stakeholders to determine various project specifics
- Help develop and maintain AutoCAD standards and adhere to department protocol for drawing setup, publishing, and record keeping
Commitments
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company’s standards — employment contingent upon passing a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
Similar experience in the telecommunications/renewable energy industry of two years will be considered based on Hiring Manager decision.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated worker, capable of operating in a team-oriented environment intended to complete projects effectively and efficiently.
He/She should have strong interpersonal skills, as this position requires working and interacting with fellow co-workers on a daily basis.
This person should be a self-starter, with a focus on company and career advancement though diligent work, technical competence, and client satisfaction.

Delta Oaks Group is seeking an individual to produce A&E / Civil site design plans in the telecom and renewable energy sectors. Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to jurisdictional design code interpretation, site planning and design tasks, CAD design and production, and client and project stakeholder communication.
