- Company Description Novel Prep is seeking a passionate and experienced Game Design Instructor to support high school students in building competitive game design portfolios for college applications.
- Player experience and interaction design
- Visual development (concept sketches, mood boards, etc.) Support students in structuring and presenting polished portfolios Balance creative direction with technical tools (Unity, Unreal, etc.) Qualifications
- Background in Game Design, Interactive Media, Computer Science, or related fields
- Experience with tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of game design fundamentals (gameplay, narrative, UX)
- Ability to mentor and communicate effectively with high school students Preferred Qualifications
- Experience guiding students in portfolio development for college admissions
- Familiarity with expectations from programs such as USC, NYU, Parsons, or similar
- Strong storytelling and creative direction skills
