On the Credit Analysis team at Selby Jennings, you'll conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of software companies issuing new BSL transactions, build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate leverage, liquidity, and covenants, and actively monitor primary market issuance, pricing, and relative value in the software sector. You will participate in due diligence through management and lender interactions, support portfolio managers with recommendations on new issue allocations and secondary trading, and prepare sector reports, risk summaries, and materials for internal investment committee discussions.
Responsibilities
Credit Analysis: Perform in-depth fundamental analysis of software companies issuing new BSL transactions, including reviewing offering memoranda, financial statements, and sponsor presentations.
Modeling & Valuation: Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess leverage, liquidity, and covenant structures.
Market Monitoring: Track primary issuance trends, pricing, and relative value opportunities within the software sector.
Due Diligence: Participate in management calls, lender presentations, and interact with syndicate desks to gather insights.
Portfolio Support: Provide recommendations to portfolio managers on new issue allocations and secondary trading opportunities.
Reporting: Prepare sector updates, risk summaries, and contribute to internal investment committee discussions.
