- Position Summary: Seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to expand market presence by engaging with the architectural and construction community, driving sales, and positioning the company as a go-to provider for custom metal solutions.
- Develop relationships with architects, designers, and developers to showcase company capabilities.
- Lead design consultations, lunch-and-learns, and product presentations.
- Collaborate with design teams to integrate products into early-stage architectural plans and project specifications.
- Construction & Contractor Collaboration
- Ensure company is prequalified with general contractors and developers to secure commercial project opportunities.
- Work with pre-construction and estimating teams to integrate solutions into bids and support execution.
- Partner with subcontractors and installers to ensure technical feasibility and proper installation.
- Sales & Market Development
- Identify and track high-value project opportunities through networking, CRM management, and industry research.
- Develop custom proposals and pricing structures, guiding clients through long sales cycles involving design, engineering, and fabrication.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, networking events, and panel discussions to build brand awareness.
- Strategy & Market Positioning
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and client feedback to refine sales approach.
- Develop and execute a territory growth strategy to expand market reach.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in architectural product sales, facade systems, decorative metals, or design-focused building solutions.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, CAD files, and construction specifications.
