- Responsible for month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Payroll processing with support and back-up by HR.
- Oversee new vendor approval, vendor management (1099’s and W-9), accounts payable processing and credit memo approval.
- Ensures accurate and timely recording of all transactions required under audits, internal controls, and checks across all departments.
- Maintain Fixed Asset, Depreciation, additions and disposals schedule.
- Prepares workpapers for grant allocations and tracking, compliance, and financial reporting requirements.
- Works with the Development Team as needed to ensure timely delivery of financial reports and invoices for foundation and grant reports, per grant awards and contracts.
- In collaboration with the Director of Finance, works with external auditors to prepare and provide all requested audit documentation to ensure a smooth process.
- Remains current on best practices in nonprofit finance, business system and internal control measures, and state and federal law regarding nonprofit operations.
