- This role plays a critical part in shaping portfolio strategy by leading investment diligence, developing high-quality recommendations, and partnering with internal stakeholders throughout the full investment lifecycle.
- Identify and originate alternative investment opportunities across private markets, including private equity, private credit, real assets, hedge funds, secondaries, and GP solutions.
- Leverage market research, manager relationships, and industry networks to source opportunities aligned with portfolio objectives.
- Due Diligence & Evaluation
- Lead comprehensive investment due diligence, including financial analysis, manager evaluation, underwriting, and risk assessment.
- Review fund terms, structures, and alignment considerations in partnership with internal teams and external advisors.
- Investment Analysis & Recommendations
- Prepare detailed investment memoranda, financial models, and supporting materials to inform allocation decisions.
- Present investment analyses and recommendations to internal committees and senior stakeholders.
- Portfolio Monitoring
- Support ongoing monitoring of approved investments, assessing performance, risk exposure, and strategic alignment.
- Review periodic reporting and evaluate market, manager, and portfolio developments.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner closely with internal legal, compliance, finance, and operations teams to support transaction execution and ongoing oversight.
- Contribute to broader discussions related to portfolio construction, investment strategy, and alternatives allocation.
