- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support , handling day‑to‑day end‑user issues both onsite and remotely
- Provide Tier 1, Tier 2, and limited Tier 3 support across desktops, applications, and connectivity
- Support Windows desktops/laptops, mobile devices, printers, and core business applications
- Own day‑to‑day support operations while coordinating with vendors or senior resources as needed
- Administer and support VMware environments, including:
- ESXi hosts, vCenter, VM lifecycle management
- Snapshots, patching, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
- HA/DRS and vMotion operations
- Support distributed HCI (dHCI) and/or traditional SAN‑based infrastructure
- Assist with storage management, datastore provisioning, and performance troubleshooting
- Support backup and recovery operations, including monitoring, restores, and testing (Veeam preferred)
- Administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including:
- Routing and switching fundamentals (VLANs, port configuration)
- Firewalls, VPNs, and basic network security rules
- DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
- Administer Active Directory and Azure AD / Entra ID
- Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and licensing
- Assist with endpoint security tooling and access controls
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and operational projects
- Maintain clear documentation for systems, procedures, and troubleshooting
- Work directly with vendors and service providers when needed

- Proven experience owning end‑user support in a small or lean IT environment
- Strong hands‑on experience with VMware virtualization environments
- Working knowledge of dHCI and/or SAN‑based storage platforms
- Solid networking experience, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Active Directory
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 in a production environment
- Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a hands‑on, self‑directed role
- Strong customer service mindset PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE
- PowerShell scripting and basic automation experience
- Exposure to automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Experience managing Microsoft SQL Server at an operational level, including:
- Basic administration
- Backup and restore support
- Troubleshooting and coordination with application teams
- Experience supporting hybrid or cloud‑integrated environments

POSITION SUMMARY This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s IT environment across end‑user support, infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and networking . The individual will serve as the primary point of contact for IT support , providing hands‑on troubleshooting, infrastructure support, and operational stability across the full IT stack.
