Data Analyst - AI Solutions

We’re looking for a curious, driven Data Analyst to help power decision-making across our venture investing platform. This role sits at the intersection of data, AI investing, and strategy , supporting deal teams, portfolio operations, and firm leadership with insights that directly shape investment outcomes. You’ll work with modern data infrastructure, help turn fragmented data into actionable intelligence, and contribute to building a scalable analytics capability at a fast-moving venture firm. Role is 3-4 days in office with flexibility. What You’ll Do
Analyze investment, market, and portfolio data to generate actionable insights for deal teams and firm leadership
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models to support sourcing, diligence, and portfolio monitoring
Work with structured and unstructured data from internal systems, third-party providers, and portfolio companies
Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows using modern data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
Partner with investors and operating teams to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards
Perform ad hoc analysis on industries, markets, and company performance trends
Help standardize and improve data quality, governance, and documentation practices
Contribute to the evolution of the firm’s analytics infrastructure and tooling What We’re Looking For
3–6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics-focused roles
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake , Databricks , or similar
Experience building dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau , Power BI , or similar BI platforms
Solid understanding of data modeling, transformation, and validation workflows
Experience working with large datasets and integrating multiple data sources
Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis is strongly preferred
Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and clear outputs
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments Bonus Points If You Have
Experience in venture capital, private equity, finance, or fintech environments
Familiarity with financial metrics, portfolio analytics, or company performance tracking
Exposure to ETL/ELT pipelines , workflow orchestration, or data engineering concepts
