Chief Financial Officer

My client is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the business through the final stages of Series A fundraising process, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time leadership role. The role requires a hands-on financial leader who can quickly develop a deep understanding of the company’s financial position and play a key role in successfully closing the current funding round, providing the dedicated focus needed during this critical phase. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain financial models to support fundraising and operations
Produce forecasts, projections, and scenario analyses
Monitor cash flow, burn rate, and runway
Prepare investor-ready reports and financial materials
Support investor communications and due diligence processes
Contribute to strategic planning and capital allocation
Implement scalable financial reporting and finance processes Requirements:
Proven experience leading start-ups through funding rounds (Seed to Series A/B)
Strong understanding of fundraising strategy, investor expectations, and deal structuring
Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario planning
Experience preparing investor materials and managing due diligence
Ability to translate financial insight into strategic decisions
Strong cash flow and burn rate management in high-growth environments
Hands-on, adaptable approach in fast-paced start-up settings
