Responsibilities
- Process transactions related to new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, salary changes, payroll taxes, deductions, direct deposits, retroactive adjustments, garnishments, relocations, stock awards, option exercises and more.
- Process Payroll Bi-Weekly in house for all US employees.
- Prepare Off-Cycle payments as needed.
- Assist with processing and review of year end filings such as W-2s.
- Prepare W-2C’s as required.
- Prepare 401K reconciliations and funding from payroll.
- Prepare payroll journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Understand and execute internal controls over the payroll process.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing on system changes and maintain proper audit support.
- Prepare and provide audit support and other payroll reports as needed.
- Be a resource to employees - assist with employee related questions in a timely and pleasant manner.
- Collaborate with IT, HR, Employee Benefits, Stock Administration, Accounting and others to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of payroll processes.
- Treat individuals with respect, keep commitments, inspire the trust of others, work ethically and with integrity, uphold organizational values and maintain accountability for own actions.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

- 5+ years processing payroll in a large multi-state environment (2,500+ employees)
- Excellent understanding of payroll processes, systems, and practices with knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations
- Ability to research, evaluate and analyze inquiries relating to payroll issues and take appropriate action to resolve
- Dependable, great attitude, highly motivated, team player, with a strong work ethic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Well organized and able to effectively prioritize and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines
- Proficient in computer usage and related software applications, specifically Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- SAP experience is a plus
