Junior Dotnet Developer

Junior .Net Developer Contract-to-hire Columbus, OH Brief Description: The .Net Developer for the Capital Markets teams will work as part of the larger team to help in the design, development, and integration of new features within the Capital Markets platforms, while helping to ensure consistency with company strategy and goals. Detailed Description: This role is an entry level position requiring the individual to be driven, well-organized and curious. They must be self-motivated and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The team will look to this individual to complete design, development and integration activities while also assisting in production releases and the resolution of incidents. Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in the analysis and review of features and user stories.
Participate in the design and review of technical design of component software features.
Participate in all Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo/Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
Develop technical solutions based upon user specifications and technology frameworks, in adherence with Huntington standards.
Update and maintain technical documentation for projects and assignments using appropriate tools and deliverables.
Proactively research, identify, and resolve issues and/or code.
Participate in code reviews and the integration testing of solutions.
Participate in the debugging and resolution of issues found during testing.
Assist in the documentation and implementation of software programs and solutions.
Collaborate with technical teams interfacing with assigned application.
Create and maintain system documentation, manuals, policy documents, etc.
Research and analyze production support issues.
Participates in production releases as scheduled.
Participates in the team’s on-call rotation for application support.
Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
0 to 2 years programming experience with a bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, information systems, math, engineering, etc.) or equivalent transferable experience through coursework, internships, or work experience in lieu of participation in the Elevate Program Skills:
Experience with .Net and/or Python.
Experience with or exposure to Cloud platforms and services (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Experience with Restful APIs/Microservices.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Knowledge or understanding of database design schemas and data modeling.
Knowledge or understanding of middleware and discovery technologies.
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong aptitude with demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn business and technology processes and solutions.
Ability to manage tasks effectively, meet deadlines and stay organized with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with team members and stakeholders when sharing updates and presenting work in team settings.
Demonstrates basic active listening skills, paraphrases or summarizes key points from conversations, and asks clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Listens without interrupting and shows respect for others' viewpoints.

Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, PlayWrite, etc.
Experience with GitHub Copilot and Google Gemini for code generation, user stories, and test scripts.
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous development.
