- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
- Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting performance
- Lead and support project‑based work such as system implementations, reporting enhancements, process redesign, and policy updates
- Develop ad hoc financial models and analyses to support strategic, operational, and investment decisions
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to evaluate costs, margins, and operational performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning through variance analysis and scenario modeling
- Improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of accounting and reporting processes
- Prepare and present financial insights to management in a clear, actionable manner
- Assist with audit preparation, including schedules, reconciliations, and support documentation
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations

Position Overview The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s financial performance through advanced analysis, cross‑functional project work, and continuous process improvement. In addition to core accounting responsibilities, this role partners with leadership to evaluate financial drivers, support strategic initiatives, and deliver insights that inform decision‑making. This position is ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys digging into the “why” behind the numbers, leading initiatives beyond the close cycle, and contributing to improvements in systems, processes, and reporting.
