- Administer medications as prescribed and perform routine assessments of both maternal and newborn vital signs
- Provide emotional support and education to new mothers, focusing on: safe, effective infant care, breastfeeding, and self-care post-delivery, while empowering them to care for themselves and their newborns
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and holistic care during and after hospital stay
- Accurately document maternal and newborn assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- 1+ year experience in a mother-baby, postpartum, or labor and delivery setting preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications from the American Heart Association
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathetic patient and family-centered care
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
Preferred Skills
- 1+ year experience in a mother-baby, postpartum, or labor and delivery setting preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications from the American Heart Association
Education

Qualifications
