Requirements
  • Knowledge of:
  • In‑depth understanding of commercial mortgage loans, affordable housing investments, and related real estate finance structures, including risk assessment, performance drivers, and lifecycle considerations across portfolios.
  • Working knowledge of investment structures, partnership agreements, and asset management frameworks, with the ability to evaluate financial, operational, and compliance implications.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio‑level financial analysis, reporting, and performance metrics, including the interpretation of complex financial statements and trends for management decision‑making.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial systems sufficient to review, challenge, and guide complex analyses rather than solely producing them.

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in finance, real estate, investment management, asset management, consulting, or a related analytical role (internships included).
  • Familiarity with LIHTC program fundamentals and real estate market trends.
  • Exposure to financial modeling and portfolio reporting.
  • Occasional travel may be required for property inspections or industry events.
