Responsibilities

On the Investor Relations and Treasury team at Morningstar, you'll support the full range of investor relations activities, including preparing quarterly earnings materials, contributing to key sections of SEC filings, and assisting with the annual report. You will help plan and execute the Annual Shareholder Meeting, manage the written investor Q&A process, maintain and enhance the Investor Relations website, and support investor and peer analysis. You’ll also manage internal calendars and process documentation and contribute to ad-hoc Investor Relations and Treasury projects as needed.

Requirements
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in investor relations, finance, accounting, consulting, investment analysis, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with financial data, models, and disclosures; advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise materials.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deliverables with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and work with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
Preferred Skills
  • Exposure to public company reporting, earnings processes, or SEC filings.
  • Familiarity with financial markets, equity research, or investor-facing communications.
Education
  • (Not required) – Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related discipline preferred.
