- What you'll do as a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN):
- Provide Direct Client Care
- Initiate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures to ensure client safety and well-being.
- Monitor and report changes in client conditions, including reactions to treatments or medication, to the physician.
- Educate, supervise, and counsel clients and caregivers on care needs and support them in managing health challenges at home.
- Maintain Accurate Client Records and Billing
- Document all services accurately and promptly using Vivie’s EMR system.
- Demonstrate an understanding of all payer sources and authorization requirements.
- Complete and document supervisory visits with LPNs and HHAs in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance and Quality Care
- Organize, develop, and direct skilled nursing services following nursing standards, state and federal regulations, and Vivie’s policies.
- Maintain the highest degree of quality care, customer service, and fiscal responsibility within the Home Health division.
- Communicate Effectively and Collaboratively
- Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients, families, physicians, referral sources, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Utilize exceptional verbal and written communication skills to ensure cohesive and effective care delivery.
- Other Duties As Assigned
- Participation in team meetings, special projects, or assisting in other areas of the organization to ensure client needs are met efficiently.
- This role includes supervisory visits with LPNs and HHAs but does not include formal supervisory responsibilities.
Commitments
Schedule: Full-time | 80 hours/pay period | Monday to Friday | 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
CPR required within 6 months of hire.
Valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
Ability to pass state mandated background check.
Employment Type: Hourly, non-exempt (eligible for overtime)
Travel Requirements: Travel to client homes within designated regions.
