- Ensures customers are serviced appropriately from the point of sale throughout the business relationship.
- Manage client accounts using strong customer service and proactive communication with clients and brokers.
- When health products exist or are in contention of selling, the Specialty Product Client Director will coordinate strategies and communication with their Client Director counterparts and/or Small Market Medical Mutual team.
- Serve as client subject matter expert for in-depth knowledge of products, services and industry best practices to effectively consult with clients and brokers
- Educate key clients and brokers on renewal development in effort to optimize resources that will increase retention and maximize profitability and possibility of additional specialty sales.
- Communicate renewal information to brokers and key clients, coordinating with assigned MMO Health Account Executive where applicable.
- Negotiate rates and present product options when needed for client retention.
- Serve as implementation manager for onboarding new key clients.
- Manage problem resolution for key client and broker service issues to ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Report monthly on retention status and competitive challenges that may prohibit retention goals.
- Create and execute strategic account plans for each client each year that include identified opportunities to promote additional Medical Mutual products
- Represent MMLIC & SDC with presentations, product knowledge and attendance at events as needed.
- Conducts employee enrollment meetings to employer groups.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Have or be able to develop full understanding of company history/philosophy and services provided.
Preferred Skills

Job Summary

Will coordinate and collaborate with any assigned MMO Health Account Executive, when applicable. Works to help onboard new groups.
