- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Gradually transition select accounting functions from outsourced providers to in-house as the company grows
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to executive leadership, providing guidance on accounting policies, procedures, and best practices within a startup environment
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis
- Develop, improve, and scale accounting processes and internal controls to support company growth
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies as the organization expands
- Prepare financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making and fundraising efforts
- Manage and optimize use of the company's large ERP system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across domestic and international operations
- Build and manage an accounting team over time as responsibilities are brought in-house

Salaried personnel receive paid time off.

- 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Strong FP&A background, including financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas
- Experience working with large ERP systems
