Training Requirement: 3 month training at Provo, Utah facility

About The Role
Dandy is hiring an experienced Controls Technician to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. In this role, you’ll oversee the maintenance and functionality of automation equipment controls and other controls systems as needed. This is an opportunity to work with custom, cutting-edge automation technology in a manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do

Work with automation engineers to create and implement programs and processes to optimize equipment efficiency
Manage and perform equipment calibration, repairs, preventive maintenance, and testing
Perform basic programming and installation of new and existing software required for equipment operations
Work within the SCADA system, look for opportunities for continuous improvement
What We're Looking For

Significant experience as a controls technician/engineer
Ability to work night shift (expected 11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday)
Understanding of basic safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures
Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work within a confined space, climb ladders, and perform other physical tasks for multiple hours/day
Ability to work occasional overtime/weekends as needed to support production goals and equipment shutdowns
A self-driven individual with a desire and ability to work under minimal supervision
A curious mind with a need to “get to the bottom” of issues and improvement opportunities
Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language
Bonus Points For

Experience with Siemens controls
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Manufacturing experience, preferably in a maintenance or controls role
