Responsibilities
- The Front Desk Clerk ensures the safety, security, and smooth operation of the building and its residents by following established policies and procedures.
- This role requires professionalism, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and residents.
- Building & Resident Safety
- Monitor lobby traffic and ensure all guests check in/out with proper identification.
- Conduct periodic inspections of common areas and report hazardous conditions.
- Log incidents and occurrences during shifts.
- Follow all desk procedures outlined in the manual.
- Administrative Duties
- Accept, record, and account for rental payments.
- Sort and distribute mail in a timely manner.
- Submit maintenance requests in the system, report emergency requests to Maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, professional lobby environment (business casual attire required).
- Professional Boundaries & Communication
- Maintain professional boundaries with residents and staff, no personal involvement.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with residents and colleagues.
- Attend all required meetings and court appearances.
