- We are seeking a senior Azure Data Architect who brings strong business acumen and the ability to partner closely with business and functional leaders to understand core business problems first—and then design data and analytics solutions that solve them .
- This role requires deep hands-on expertise in Azure combined with a strategic, enterprise mindset .
- The Azure Data Architect will serve as both a thought leader and a doer —setting the vision and standards for our data platforms while also personally designing, building, and scaling solutions .
- This is not a purely advisory role; success requires the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution.
- Partner with business and functional leaders to understand business objectives, challenges, and decision needs, translating them into scalable Azure data and analytics solutions
- Architect and scale enterprise data platforms using Azure Synapse, Fabric, ADF, and Azure Data Lake Storage
- Define and govern data architecture standards, including dimensional models, Lakehouse and medallion architectures, and reusable data products
- Lead data governance, security, lineage, cataloging, and compliance in alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements
- Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark notebooks, orchestration patterns, and performance tuning best practices
- Establish and implement CI/CD standards for data pipelines, notebooks, and SQL assets
- Collaborate closely with BI, analytics, ML, and application teams to deliver integrated, end-to-end data solutions
- Produce clear architectural documentation, reference designs, and implementation standards that teams can execute against
- Balance long-term data strategy with hands-on delivery, ensuring solutions are both visionary and operationally effective
- Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Enterprise Data Analyst, Fabric certifications)

- 5+ years of experience in architecting enterprise-scale Azure data platforms
- Deep hands-on expertise with Azure Synapse, ADF, ADLS, Fabric, and PySpark required
- Experience with data products, domain-driven design, and data mesh concepts
- Exposure to ML/AI data lifecycles, feature stores, and MLOps dependencies
- Strong foundation in data modeling (star/snowflake schemas), dimensional design, and Lakehouse patterns
- Demonstrated ability to lead data governance, security, lineage, and compliance initiatives (including Purview)
- Experience designing high-volume, distributed data pipelines with strong performance and reliability controls
- Strong understanding of DevOps / CI-CD practices for data and analytics solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business leaders, bridging strategy and execution
