Requirements
  • Use and maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Center IC, SBDC Research Software and Clarementis
  • A Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent and experience in the areas of Administrative Support, Organizing/Event Planning, Customer Service, Communicating with Stakeholders/Business Owners, Developing/Recruiting SBDC Client Relationships, Database Management, Social Media Marketing/Program Promotions, Canva Design, Record Keeping and Researching Project Data and Permits/Regulations required.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • The successful candidate will show evidence of the ability to:
  • Work both independently and as a member of a team
  • Prioritize tasks and problem solve
  • Learn, interpret, and apply program policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing including proper use of grammar, spelling, punctuation, editing and proof reading
  • Use a personal computer, Microsoft Office software, Canva and Social Media Skills and other automated office equipment
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals and groups
  • Utilize front-line decision-making skills in the areas of resolving or redirecting client challenges
  • Ability to maintain a high level of ethics and confidentiality in performance of all job duties
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders important to the SBDC
  • Ability to work with committees and organizations in developing programs and workshops
  • Ability to utilize social media, photography and other marketing programs to develop marketing literature and promotions for clients
  • Operation of a State Vehicle Yes Supervises Employees No Required Travel
