Responsibilities
- This role Respects Accounting, Financial and Internal Control Policies and Procedures to support major financial objectives and policies.
- Prepares daily/weekly/monthly financial reports, presents analyses, and assists in the monthly financial close.
- Assists in the preparation of budgets/trends and prepares ad hoc reports.
- Creates specific recommendations for reducing costs and improving profits.
- Analyze and report direct variances (including freight, purchase price variance, consumption, substitution)
- Support the costing process (work with support departments to create accurate and on time COGS in SAP and communicate to appropriate parties)
- Support the annual budget process and monthly trend / R&O analysis
- Partner with stakeholders to improve balance sheet KPIs
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed
- Ensure compliance with internal control and accounting principles
- Proposes corrective actions to improve the performance of the plant and measures the results
- Acts as liaison with other departments

What You Will Learn
