Requirements
- You should be a self-motivated professional with a minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience leading manufacturing projects.
- Minimum of 5 years progressive Project Management experience in manufacturing, with exposure to the commercial construction industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with steel, stainless steel, aluminum and/or glass manufacturing
- Proficiency with MS Office, Project Scheduling Software, and AutoCAD
- Solid understanding of construction terms, estimating, purchasing, scheduling & planning concepts.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract specifications, drawings & scopes of work
- Excellent business judgement, demonstrated by consistently achieving profitability objectives & strong project closeouts
- Track record successfully managing customer relationships
- Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities between business needs, organizational issues and sound customer relations

Position Overview Sentech Architectural Systems is an Austin-based specialty structural glass design, engineering and manufacturing company that serves the needs of progressive architecture and building industry professionals on some of the most unique and challenging structural glass projects in the world. We are currently looking to expand our Project Management department, and are looking for an experienced Project Manager with significant expertise in metal manufacturing and glass/glazing , and deep experience planning, controlling, communicating and managing all project resources and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. In this role, you manage the project from beginning to end, coordinating directly with Pre-Sales, our clients (architects, contractors & installers), Engineering and Design teams, Procurement, Finance, and Manufacturing. Oversight includes client approval, fabrication, assembly, and installation of our specialty structural glass systems. The projects you work on will be unique, and you will be responsible for several projects at a time. You will ensure complete and timely adherence to project schedule, scope, costs and have impeccable organizational skills. You are a quick learner, and can quickly become familiar with the work processes, standards of practice, and design technology used in engineering our structures. This is a dynamic, challenging opportunity to lead the delivery of structural glass projects as part of a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team. In this role, you will report to our Director of Project Management and will closely collaborate with and learn other Project Managers, Engineers, Designer and Manufacturing Staff, who have deep industry experience.
