- Serve as the primary finance lead for a portfolio of startup and growth-stage clients
- Deliver clear financial reporting and insights to founders and leadership teams
- Lead regular financial review meetings and translate financial data into actionable insights
- Support executive decision-making with financial analysis and strategic recommendations Financial Planning & Analysis
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
- Monitor key metrics including revenue performance, margins, burn rate, and runway
- Develop reporting dashboards and KPIs to support growth and operational planning
- Assist with investor reporting, board materials, and fundraising preparation Accounting Oversight
- Oversee monthly close processes and ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Work closely with internal bookkeeping teams managing day-to-day accounting operations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and proper financial controls
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and processes as companies scale Strategic Advisory
- Advise founders on financial strategy, pricing, and operational efficiency
- Help clients build scalable finance processes and internal controls
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, margin improvement, and operational efficiency
- Support due diligence, capital raises, and strategic initiatives Internal Collaboration
- Partner with the Bob’s Bookkeepers accounting team to deliver high-quality client service
- Help develop internal best practices and scalable financial workflows
- Contribute to improving our outsourced finance and CFO service offerings Qualifications
