Position Summary
The Seattle Colleges are looking for innovative and dedicated faculty members who have a demonstrated commitment to working within a college community that is diverse and serves students from a broad spectrum of socioeconomic and academic backgrounds. Successful applicants will have the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, staff and others in a campus climate that promotes cultural diversity and multicultural understanding in an urban environment.
Successful applicants may be invited to interview at North Seattle College. Specific teaching assignments will be dependent on the instructor's background, scheduling, and available courses.
Candidates should be willing to teach in a variety of formats such as in-class, hybrid, online and varied class times including days, evenings, and weekends according to program needs. Teaching format will depend on the course, and instructor availability is taken into consideration.

Required
What you bring as a candidate:

Associate Degree or equivalent training in Electronics Technology or related field
Experience teaching or training
Evidence of collaborative work within an organization
Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and the ability to work effectively with populations of diverse backgrounds and life experiences as outlined in your attached diversity statement
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, using Office software when appropriate
Preferred

Two years of work experience in the field of electronics
Experience with avionics, advanced manufacturing, healthcare technology management/biomedical equipment technology, mechatronics, industrial power, or IT - controlled electronics
Relevant industry recognized certifications and credentials
Successful teaching experience in higher education
Experience developing curriculum and program development in a variety of formats, including online, hybrid and face-to-face
Experience assessing course work or training and student/participant achievement
Experience working in a cooperative environment and collaborating with industry organizations and/or employers
