Requirements
  • Five (5) or more years administrative experience in education (in digital learning preferred); experience supervising or working collaboratively with faculty and staff;
  • Demonstrated experience with budget management.
  • Demonstrated compliance experience, including familiarity with National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) and/or national accreditation.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale digital transformation in higher education.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying professional development needs of faculty and staff and developing effective programs to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrated experience with instructional design, assessment and curriculum development incorporating technology tools in face-to-face, online and hybrid teaching environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with micro-credentials, digital trust frameworks, and learner analytics.
  • Demonstrated in-depth skills in using MS Office, Outlook, and other instructional technology tools and software.
  • Demonstrated in-depth skills administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Online Program Management (OPM) tools.
  • Demonstrated experience working and supervising in an organized labor environment navigating collective bargaining agreements.
  • Demonstrated experience with equity-centered design and inclusive practices; commitment to equity and fostering a climate of multicultural inclusion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently set priorities and complete assignments in a timely manner under dynamic working conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, restore, and/or maintain strategic relationships that foster community and advance the mission of the District
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to be creative, collaborative, flexible, organized, problem-solving, a strong communicator, and thrive in a dynamic team­ oriented environment.
  • Ability to operate office equipment, receive and interpret data, and prepare various materials

  • (Not required) – Master's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field OR, 6 or more years of relevant experience.
