- Serve as the primary financial and operational partner to the CEO, executive leadership team, and private equity sponsor, supporting strategy execution and value creation initiatives
- Lead all accounting and finance activities, including general ledger, monthly close, financial reporting, cash management, forecasting, and budgeting
- Build, professionalize, and scale the finance function, initially operating hands-on with a planned controller hire as the business stabilizes
- Develop disciplined financial processes, controls, and reporting in a complex, founder-led environment with limited historical rigor
- Oversee cost accounting, SKU-level profitability analysis, and pricing economics across a highly fragmented product portfolio
- Partner with operations and supply chain leadership to analyze manufacturing economics, capacity utilization, inventory turns, and margin improvement opportunities
- Manage inventory, working capital, and cash flow, including identification and mitigation of excess and obsolete inventory risk
- Lead financial planning, KPI development, and long-range forecasting tied directly to operational drivers and growth initiatives
- Evaluate international sourcing exposure, tariffs, and trade dynamics; develop scenario models to assess supply chain and manufacturing risk
- Support selective add-on acquisitions through financial diligence, valuation analysis, and post-close financial integration
- Lead financial integration of acquisitions, including systems, reporting, controls, and synergy tracking
- Support capital structure oversight, lender relationships, and financing-related reporting and compliance

- Experience building and leading high-performing, metrics-driven finance organizations with a disciplined management cadence (monthly close, dashboards, forecasts, budgets, and business reviews)
- Highly analytical, hands-on leader with an entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable operating independently in fast-paced, high-accountability environments
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization and with external investors

Position Summary: Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a hands-on financial and operational leader for a soon-to-launch manufacturing and distribution platform investment backed by a Healthcare fund sponsored by a national private equity firm. The CFO will partner closely with the CEO, executive team, and the private equity firm to build institutional-grade financial infrastructure, support the growth strategy, and execute the value-creation plan. The business features operational complexity, including a fragmented SKU base, multi-channel pricing, international sourcing, domestic manufacturing, and active M&A. The CFO will oversee all financial functions, including accounting, FP&A, capital structure, and M&A evaluation and integration, while building a scalable finance organization and serving as the primary financial liaison to the Board, private equity firm, lenders, and other stakeholders.
