Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance partner to management for the forecasting and planning system.
- Lead the collection, consolidation, and publication of Annual Plan and Long-Range Plan (LRP) revenue forecasts by Business Unit.
- Oversee and reconcile monthly revenue reporting updates, incorporating changes from market research data.
- Manage customer price recovery reporting and forecasting, while tracking material cost impacts to ensure commodity price changes are continuously monitored and reflected across the customer base.
- Conduct product mix and segmentation analytics to support ongoing updates to the divisional Segmented Profit & Loss statement, identifying margin performance and growth opportunities.
- Act as the primary finance partner from a commercial perspective in developing financial models and analyses for customer quotations, including participation in quote reviews.
- Oversee the planning and reporting of sold orders and assess their impact on Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) bonus calculations.
- Provide insights into the conversion of sold orders to revenue to improve forecast accuracy and conversion rates.
- Serve as the key finance contact for the preparation of the Commercial Tooling budget and support selected capital tooling requests.
- Partner with Commercial Finance on financial analyses and contribute to Annual Plan and LRP reporting.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve, streamline, or eliminate departmental processes and tasks.
- Support additional commercial-focused finance projects as needed.
