Requirements
  • A minimum of one year of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, graphic design platforms, and general technology, including Microsoft Office.
  • Good interpersonal communication, people, and leadership skills.
  • Strong experience coordinating student programs, advising student organizations, honor societies, and publishing publications for the newspaper and/or publicity, tangibly and/or virtually.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing, public relations, club organizations, and/or athletics.
  • Experience in a higher education and college setting
  • Technologically literate.
  • Knowledge of:
  • Organization, department, and general office operations, services, procedures, and policies; financial rules, regulations, laws, and procedures and maintenance equipment procedures and the ability to multitask, adhere to budgets, and insurance regulations.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students in a variety of settings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in social media management, digital marketing, and content creation.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with student engagement and co-curricular program development.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive campus environment.
Education
  • (Not required) – Education and Experience: An associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree is preferred) in communication or a related field.
  • (Not required) – Experience in a higher education and college setting
