Business Analyst – AI Automation & Supply Chain Workflows

Overview
Seeking a hands-on Business Analyst to execute an AI automation roadmap across a $1.8B supply chain operation. This is not a traditional requirements-gathering role. The BA will build, configure, deploy, and maintain AI-powered workflows and agents using enterprise no-code/low-code platforms to eliminate manual processes.
This role translates 60+ identified supply chain use cases into fully functioning automation solutions and manages multiple implementations simultaneously with high autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
AI Workflow & Agent Development

Design and implement automated workflows using enterprise AI and workflow platforms
Configure AI agents through expert-level prompt engineering
Build decision trees, automation sequences, workflow logic, and integration points
Establish required data inputs and workspace structures for AI functionality
Troubleshoot AI behavior, optimize prompt performance, and mitigate hallucinations
Solution Implementation

Translate supply chain use cases into end-to-end automation solutions
Build hybrid solutions combining analytics dashboards with AI workflows
Orchestrate solutions across multiple platforms (BI tools + AI systems)
Manage 5–8 concurrent implementation projects independently
Stakeholder Partnership

Partner directly with supply chain teams to understand manual process pain points
Co-develop solutions through iterative testing
Lead user acceptance testing and solution validation
Documentation & Governance

Document workflow configurations, prompt structures, and implementation decisions
Ensure documentation is clear enough for non-technical users to maintain long-term
Treat documentation as a core deliverable
Must-Have Hard Skills (Top 3)

Expert-level prompt engineering and AI agent configuration across enterprise platforms
Strong experience with no-code/low-code workflow automation tools
Ability to independently build and deploy AI-powered process automation solutions
Required Expertise

Deep understanding of AI agent training, context windows, model limitations, and hallucination mitigation
Strong business process configuration experience
Basic technical literacy (APIs, data structures, system integrations)
Experience managing multiple concurrent automation projects
High attention to detail and structured documentation practices
Preferred Qualifications

Supply chain knowledge (procurement, inventory management, logistics planning)
Experience with BI/analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight, Power BI)
2–3+ years implementing AI or automation solutions in operational environments
