Requirements
  • Tennessee POST Certified Law Enforcement Officer in good standing.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory or commandlevel capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising personnel and managing operational functions.
  • Valid Tennessee driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Graduate of a recognized commandlevel leadership program (e.g., FBI National Academy, Southern Police Institute, Northwestern School of Police Staff & Command, Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police (TACP) Leadership Program, or equivalent executivelevel training).
  • Experience with accreditation processes, policy development, and organizational administration.
  • Experience with RMS systems, digital evidence platforms, and datadriven policing strategies.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of a sworn law enforcement officer.
Preferred Skills
  • Graduate of a recognized commandlevel leadership program (e.g., FBI National Academy, Southern Police Institute, Northwestern School of Police Staff & Command, Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police (TACP) Leadership Program, or equivalent executivelevel training).
