- Budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting and analysis across several separate operations
- Lead the teams financial management activities
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes; daily cash monitoring, payment approvals, working capital optimization, cash flow management and liquidity
- Journal entries, account reconciliations, financial schedules and reporting
- Financial modeling to support strategic planning
- Variance commentary, KPIs, and monthly management reporting packages
- Support Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT to drive cost discipline
- Primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, preparing audit documentation and ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX/internal control requirements
- Enhance financial processes and systems, identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency, and better decision support
- Manage special projects related to financial analysis, business performance, system implementation, process improvement, and other financial projects on demand WHAT YOU HAVE:

Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, ideally within a public company environment
- Expertise with financial reporting, internal controls and consolidation including intercompany processes
- Experience partnering with Big 4 audit firms
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and financial modeling
Preferred Skills
- The ideal candidate has experience effectively managing others in a supervisory role and 5+ years in an accounting environment preferably in a manufacturing company.
- CPA or equivalent certification a plus; public accounting experience strongly preferred

AMGUARD Environmental Technologies is looking for a Corporate Controller to manage several of their entities and ensure compliance and timely reporting. This position is on-site at our offices in Morrisville, NC. In this role, the Controller will be asked to function across multiple business units, working within GAAP and SOX compliance requirements while successfully navigating a matrixed reporting structure. The is a hands-on position where the Controller and their direct reports will partner with a diverse team of business professionals in different locations across several time zones. The ideal candidate has experience effectively managing others in a supervisory role and 5+ years in an accounting environment preferably in a manufacturing company. A key to success is being able to navigate the inherent complexities involved operating in and through multiple ERP systems to produce clean consolidated P&L and other views of the AMGUARD business units while managing the daily business and consistently meeting the reporting deadlines of the team. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
