Responsibilities
On the engineering team at Bellwood, you'll uphold strong coding standards, evolve testing strategies to improve application reliability, and drive optimization for performance and scalability. You will build reusable components and hooks to accelerate feature delivery, educate and collaborate with other engineers on modern best practices, and participate in occasional rotational on-call support, working primarily within a TypeScript, HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, React, React Query, NodeJS, and Jest/RTL/Cypress stack.
Commitments
This role requires a strong desire to continuously learn, occasional rotational on-call support, and mandatory travel for two annual company-wide events with expenses covered, plus additional travel as needed. Based in Atlanta, it involves frequent in-person client meetings about two days per week and quarterly on-site planning, with occasional local team meetings, while otherwise functioning as a remote, open-PTO position.

Maintain coding standards to assist other engineers in achieve common tasks while sustaining a high bar for code quality
Mature the project’s existing testing strategies to strengthen the reliability of the application
Provide guidance on optimization strategies to build a fast and scalable application
Educate and collaborate with other engineers on modern software development best practices
Build reusable components and hooks to expedite feature delivery
Potential rotational on-call support (rare but required for some engagements)
